Already the fruits of our convention are being felt. Sunday I will be joining other Seiu members on a political door knock in Clark County along with Executive Board member TJ Jannsen from Wenatchee. Karen Holyk an Addus employee will be taking off from PDX to go to Ohio to talk to other unorganized care givers. It is exciting to get to meet other people and talk about what we can do together. Already we have accomplished alot, but there is so much more to do. If your organizer doesn't know you well, call and tell them you want to join this wave of eager members that want to make history in changing Health Care in the 21st century. Hello everyone. Hats off to all the wonderful committments you are living in your daily lives. I wanted to talk a little bit about the Member Exchange. Accessible Healthcare????

It's a great idea. I want every man, woman and child to be the best they are capable of being. Insurance coverage is not the total answer. Waiting lists would seem to be inevitable under our current system simply because of the shortages of healthcare providers. Better training and a career ladder are only a part of the answer. It would seem that the biggest part of the answer to solving one of the most complex questions we face at the beginning of the 21st century is simple.
